I agree with you Jaymz that the docs have no idea in many cases. But I disagree totally that the labels are just excuses to avoid responsibility. Excuse me but that is a very ignorant and selfish statement indeed. Some of the strongest people I know are the ones who battle Depression and other mental illnesses every minute of every day of their lives. Your statement that we are just avoiding personal responsibility is a sad generalisation which is no better than blind unfeeling prejudice.
