Day 25 - Need advice
Okay, today is day 25. My starting weight was 244.5. This morning I weighed in at 209 for a 35.5 pound loss.
I still feel pretty good and am exercising most days including:
1.) 1.5 hours or more of Yoga
2.) Walk 3 - 5 miles, some light jogging.
I have a long trail race of 50 miles coming up in California at the end of July. It is not totally critical that I do this race but it is important to me. I am going out there for a wedding so I kill two birds with one stone by sneaking in a race. Hence, I need to get some training in in the next 6 weeks. Some really long walks and runs, (20 to 30 miles).
Now, my questions:
1.) How long should I go? Start breaking or go another 5 - 15 days.
2.) Someday I would love to go for the Full 40. Should I do it now, or wait. If I do go for the 40 I can easily see myself losing another 15, which would make a total loss of about 50 pounds. Is that a bit much? See if I increase my exercise I know I can drop another 10 to 15 via exercise and a good diet from here on out.
3.) What do I NOT GAIN by dropping out at 25 days rather than the full 40. Will the clease really be all that much deeper if I hang in there for another few days or a week. I mean, if I am losing weight while off the cleanse, isn't it true that I am also detoxing since I am getting rid of the fat which holds the toxins.
This is my 6th or 7th cleanse varying between 10 and 23 days in the last 3 - 4 years.
4.) Tongue is still fairly heavily coated. I would love to hang in there for a pink tongue, but since I still have about 20 pounds
of fat to lose. (190 pounds
is an ideal weight for me), will the tongue still be coated until I exhaust all of my bad/toxic fat reserves. In other words, what really needs to happen to achieve pink tongue status.
