Yes, the person eating the apple would almost surely be stronger. However, if you saw the film Chris mentioned, Super Size Me, if you remember at the end they did that experiment with the McD french fries where they put them in a glass jar and I think two weeks later they were still there with no mold on them or anything. So, let that be a lesson to everyone, if you are going to be out in a boat for a few weeks or crossing a desert for a few weeks, be sure to pack a large order of McD french fries for the trip!
