Plasticat, Have you ever looked into salicylate sensitivity?

My daughter had eczema from when she was a baby. When she was 7 yrs old, we went on the Feingold diet(which elimates food colors , preservatives , and high salicylate foods) as a family for her sister. Her eczema went away completely, but I didn't know why. A few years later, we started eating the high salicylate foods again and her eczema became very bad. Now we realize that when she eats certain foods like apples, watermelon, or cucumbers(and others) her eczema flairs up.
