I've been taking Iodine for about 15 months without any obvious benefits. Started slowly, ramped up over a few months to about 200mg, then over time dropped back to a long term dose of about 50mg.
A few days ago, I decided to increase the dose significantly, to about 500mg per day, in the hopes of eradicating a long-term fungal infection.
But I'm having trouble with the increased consumption. I'm taking Lugols (5%) in water, 20 drops in a glass of water 4 times throughout the day. Altho the lower concentrations were never a problem, the higher dose is difficult. Taste, nausea, questions about what it's doing to my stomach and internal bacteria, etc. I'm also back to getting headaches, pimples and a rush shortly after taking it.
Any advice to make this easier and safe?
