There is no attraction to DuPage county...you are sooo right about the highways, complexes, malls and mass congestion. It amuses me that so many people moved out this way to get away from the city congestion! I wouldn't live in Naperville if someone GAVE me a house there...talk about bursting at the seams!!! I only live here because I am living with my elderly mother so that she won't have to go into a long-term care facility. And I'm actually not home very much...I make frequent trips to the city and my current work has me traveling extensively all over the country. But I'm home enough to keep an eye on Mom.

Yes, Galena is lovely...I've been there in the Fall. But when I leave here it will be for a warmer climate, slower pace of living, and different culture. Tweet
