Re: oppressed people

People in many parts of the world have been so cut off from the rest of the world, they have grown up in very harsh environments, without basic needs being met. They also dont know thier religion fully because of this. Its a travesty beyond words. Sadly people judge Islam based on these people living in backward cultures. You cannot do this. For example Coptic Christians in Rural areas of present day Egypt practice FMG. Likewise, Muslim Rural villagers do as well. However it is a Pharoanic practice dating back hundreds of years. It has NOTHING to do with ISLAM and NOTHING to do with CHRISTIANITY. You cannot judge Egyptian Christians this way. Tweet
