Hi Missy, I would put a call into your doc to be sure! I haven't had a period yet after removal but the bright red blood would be enough reason for me to call and at least ask. I was bleeding bright red(new blood) with my cysts?! Better to be safe than sorry. Good luck sweetie,Michelle
