To coin a phrase, Donna, I feel your pain. I, too, used to be a staunch Republican many years ago. Both parties stink. I refuse to ever vote for the lesser of two evils ever, ever, ever again, nor will I fall prey to the argument that I'm wasting my vote by voting for Ron Paul because he doesn't have a chance to win. I'm writing his name in no matter what. I'm voting for what I want, period, end of story. Will he win? Probably not, but I won't be a party to helping any one those other snakes get into office. I smell a revolution brewing, at least I pray to God it's the revolution I smell and not just my neighbor's barbecue. A dead person can sense that there's something terribly, terribly wrong and insidiously evil going on everywhere. Rant, vent, scream, do whatever you have to do, but hold on to that spark of hope. It's all we have, girl. And keep praying . . .
