Emphysema & Exhaustion

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to these forums.

About a year ago I was told that I have COPD and emphysema. What I want to know is if emphysema causes a person to feel exhausted and tired all the time? I've had problems with fatigue most of my life, but it seems to be getting worse. I realize it could be coming from getting older (I'm 55), and it could be coming from certain other meds I'm on. But then it occurred to me that make it's coming from emphysema? According to the doc I saw, I only have a slight case of it so far, so I was ignoring it. But maybe it's causing more problems that I know.

Can someone here give me some info? I will really appreciate it. And I will be back to answer.
