Re: Climate Change - The "tipping point"

Yeah, I'm beginning to realize that the governments/politicians and corporations have a need to disown responsibility for their decades of severe environmental abuse in order to retain control of society as 'puppets'.

It's probably too early for any serious predictions of this year's storm season, but the ocean waters are warm and more than a dozen storms are forecast in the U.S.A. and one major hurricane (will Bush postpone/cancel the election?). I don't imagine FEMA will be a big help to storm survivors in this financial crisis with our National Guard shorthanded because most of their equipement is in Iraq, yet their building CANAMEX and the Trans-Texas Corridor for NAFTA (that's where the money is going).
