the things that happened to your must be gone over with your lawyer that is sure you have a case. gather all your records and do most of the work for the lazy lawyers, if they even thinking about taking your case you will need to send them copies of your records or a signed release form.

contacting a lawyer is hard so the message you leave with the secretary must sound like you know what you are talking about. get some medical ethics books from ebay, i did.

i was always told i had a case and to find a better lawyer that works with malpractice and gross negligence.
