I am being admitted to the hospital

My doc had my ultrasound results sitting on his desk for nearly 48 hours and finally called me today only to tell me that he is admitting to the hospital because I have a serious infection and a large mass on my left side. He is not sure if it is a cyst or an abcess!! If the IV Antibiotics do not work I will have to have surgery. I AM TERRIFIED!! My husband and I were planning on having more children, that right may be stripped from us. I wish I had never had that stupid IUD put in. I suggest to all of you who have one in GET IT OUT. It is not worth the risk. Also teel everyone you know who has one or plans to get one DO NOT DO IT!!!! Wish me luck, I will write again soon, as soon as I get out of the hospital.
