Re: The new communism ~ climate alarmism and environmentalism
I agree that we are all being sold a crock of bull and that we will continue to pay for our "dependency" in the energy market. I don't deny that I am a slave to the energy machine that keeps me sitting here typing on my keyboard to you in the relative comfort of my 21st century home in one of the "richest" countries on earth. I don't deny that I despise that I am a part of this machine that keeps cranking out products that have no place in nature except where they originated. The fact is that Nature will win this battle. To have such hubris to believe that the fight is with the feuding environmentalists vs. those who believe we can continue on this track in the name of human progress is not even a joke-it is ignorance. This isn't about democracy either. It is about corporate greed, middle class ethics, sloppy daily habits, gross unconcern for the habitats and existence of life forms, a flippant attitude to the creation of the universe and all that's in it. Oh yeah, petroleum on other planets. Let's just hop in our super powered rockets and go excavate those planets and add space trash to the muck. I'm sorry-Lewis and Clark might be national heroes, but there are no more illusions of "oh, it's only a little mess we are leaving in our wake." On the massive scale of billions of messes, there are no rugs big enough to sweep the stuff under. I am sick of being sick, and I have two grandchildren who deserve their own lives that we are sacrificing in the name of progress. This is just about now and the lies we are told. It's also about the lies we tell ourselves that say, "It's okay, just this once more.I am not ready to give this up just yet" Ha-the Bush plan-send me $600 so I can go spend it at Walmart on more shit. I am a wage slave-just like they want me. That way I don't have time to find another way out of this. I'm trying, but I am losing and you're telling me it's all in my head? I don't think I am the one that's nuts here. And i pay less attention to the media than you think. All I have to do is look in my trash can, on the side of the road, and up in the sky. I may be getting older, but I am dead sure that the times "they are a changing." I can see it in eyes, hear it in the roar in the distance, smell it in the wind, feel it in vibrations everywhere, wipe the electric dust off of everything as it cries in my soul. No, I don't have the websites to refer to-(belief is spelled i before e by the way-I believe) but I do have good sense. Try depending on your own good sense instead of trying to prove what is the conflicting philosophy of the century. I am not running from this or hiding in my bunker. the commies won't get me because I can duck and cover? Yeah, right.
