Re: c r a v i n g s
It's easy to understand that you would be having cravings. We spend the majority of our lives being able to eat and do whatever we please, whenever we please and so suddenly you have a lack of food in your life, which for many people is a huge source of entertainment and suddenly feel a conflict.
The thing to try and keep in perspective is that this is temporary for one. The cravings are also a natural part of detox. If you are craving foods that are more toxic and that you ate in the past, you are detoxing that food. These signs usually pass the next morning. Just get through THIS day. Remind yourself why you are doing it. Probably not the best idea to talk to your friends about it because unless someone has read the book and gone through this before, they are likely to look at you like you're crazy and try to feed you something. LOL!
Just give yourself this time. I tend to get through it, thinking about it as a spiritual process. If I get to feeling that way, I just gently move my mind to a more peaceful thought. I think about how great I am going to feel about myself. I think about how good I am going to look. I think about how clean my insides are becoming. I try to meditate or walk or journal. Journalling is always great for me. I guess you can tell I like to write, a little. :)
Anyway, those are my suggestions. I wish you a very successful cleanse. I am just about to day 3 myself. But, I feel pretty confident about it because it's my 5th time in 5 years so I pretty much feel I know what to expect. You're through the worst of it if you're only going for 10 days.
