I just got mine out on tuesday. i got mine out while i had a period. i dont know how i was on a period, i usually didnt have one on mirena. my new doctor said that is the best time to get it out. i think i have scared my husband the past two days due to the fact i am now off my period and have a whole new mindset on sex! my sex drive is back with a vengeance!!! i feel sooooooo relaxed. i can already tell my body is getting back to normal.
