Re: My research for THOSE WHO WANT IT.
My previous post i said i've been looking for an insulin-sensitizing agent. I've found one, which can be applied topically for exactly the same symptoms of exfoliative cheilitis. Their called troglitazone and ciglitazone.
http://www.ingentaconnect.com/content/mksg/exd/2006/00000015/00000003/art00002
"Topical treatment with ciglitazone and troglitazone resulted in a marked and significant decrease in epidermal thickness. Furthermore, in all TZD-treated groups, we observed a significant decrease in keratinocyte proliferation"
"Together, these results suggest that in addition to their metabolic effects currently in use in the treatment of type 2 diabetes, topical TZDs could be considered as potential alternative therapeutic agents in hyperproliferative skin diseases such as psoriasis."
I'VE NOW FOUND SOMETHING THAT CAN TEMPORARILY CURE EXFOLIATIVE CHEILITIS AND BELIEVE ALONG WITH DIET CAN CURE EXFOLIATIVE CHEILITIS.
If you don't understand where i'm coming from, ask questions and i'll explain as easy as i can. Now i have to get hold of an insulin-sensitizing topical agent thats safe and can be applied to the lips. So far the natural ones i've found are Lycopene(found in tomatoes) and Cinnamon.
