Re: Fluoride in teas is OK?

the tea plant naturally takes up a lot of fluoride from the soil, just like the spinach plant naturally takes up lots of iron or a banana tree takes up potassium, etc. So it doesn't matter if the tea is organic or not, the amount of fluoride will be the same, unless of course they used a fluoride based pesticide on the tea which can happen.

too much fluoride is bad, even if its naturally occuring. however, if you look at this post you can see the enormous difference between the toxicity of flouride and the toxicity of calcium fluoride. once fluoride binds to calcium its as harmless as table salt .

so, if you really like tea then i would suggest that you add a bit water soluble calcium to it and drink it up. you dont need to add much calcium, just a pinch. calcium chloride does dissolve in water, also ultra pure coral calcium will mix with water but the cheap ones wont due to additives.
