He also supplies some very particular restaurants and chefs with the foods... all bio-dynamic and organic; and all off of this small piece of land (less than 1/2 acre with the house on it!).

I recently picked up the book "Perfect Weight" for free with a purchase of any Garden of Life product at my local Vitamin Shoppe.  I haven't had much time to read it.  Inside the book is information about a company that can help you make your own organic garden with a limited amount of space.
