Wondering about interaction of men & women/dating - Maya? :-)

I went to the gym today and this guy who is nothing like the man on my list of "My perfect mate" which I wrote, came up to me and I could tell he liked me. It ended up being just a little conversation, he introduced himself and such and a little small talk including complimenting me. He also said hopefully we would get the chance to talk some later on.

That made me wonder, if I was not in alignment OR was it because even though I know what kind of mate I want and am focused on and in alignment with that, I also like to flirt and get male attention? Can you be flirty and have innocent fun with men and yet be focused on and drawing in your perfect mate? I mean, I dont resist guys who are "just fun" as I used to in the past. I dont think about what I dont want in a mate. I DO think what I want in my mate and I ALSO think about having fun, innocent conversations with guys. I would think its okay, but I want to know for sure. I like to feel good, have fun, and innocent male attention is fun too me ;-)

Also, I am wondering if alignment with what you want would keep any male attention that is coming NOT from the mate who is right for you to just talking, without the guy asking you out? Would you even get asked to go on dates if you are TRULY aligned and want a committed relationship with the perfect mate? Would only the perfect mate with whom you will stay together ask you out?
