Protopic didn't help very much at all. They didn't start getting better until I stopped using all that crap. Just straight all natural lip balm, diet change, exercise, and natural oils. I've been using sesame oil before bed and sometimes right after my morning shower. Great moisturizer. I also picked as little as possible. The more I pick the faster I peel. I do still peel a little but it is a different kind of peeling entirely, believe me. They are not all the way normal as I've said or I wouldn't be here, but the are at a very acceptable level now. I smile and laugh at work, I go out with friends, it's great!
I've been taking vit e, spirulina lately. Don't know if that's helping or not but it's good for me. The spirulina is very alkalizing. Alkalize, alkalize, alkalize! Don't expect these supplements and moisturizers to all of the sudden work by themselves. I think the healthier my body gets, the more my body lets these things work to heal it. Know what I mean?
