Re: Raw meat

On a trip to Paris, I found out that the French try not to process food too much. They feel that food is healthier when it has been through very little processing. I believe this too; however, they extend this to meat. I always had to specify well done. Even then, the meat would come back somewhat pink. There is a dish that is raw ground beef mixed with veggies and spices. They love it. I even went to MacDonald's when I was in a hurry. The hamburger patty was pink. I looked at the stranger sitting next to me and saw that his was too. I'm not sure if this is true for their fish. I did not dare try the chicken either. I wonder if they are a healthy people.
