If anyone thinks that banning guns is even possible, think about how? Will you be able to get all criminals to turn in their guns...come on. So law abiding citizens will be without guns that they have the right to have and criminals will still have them either way. Ban all you want, if a criminal wants a gun they will get it. There will always be a supply of guns as we are not the only country in the world and therefore they will be brought in no matter what we do. I personally think it is not a problem to own guns, but there is a lack of education a lot of the time which is where some problems occur. There are a lot of idiots with loaded guns lying around their house which is just reckless in my opinion. However, because there are idiots in the world you should punish everyone? I don't think so. Because you disagree with guns you should be able to dictate whether or not I have one? Please.

Maybe I feel fattening foods are killing our society (and they are) so I want to band all foods which cause health problems...should I be able to dictate that? How many people each year are killed by guns in this country (inside this country, not including the rest of the world and minus organized war) and how many die from all of the illnesses caused by improper nutrition, obesity, and all of the problems that come from it...ever heard of heart disease? How many people a year does it kill? I bet a hell of a lot more than the guns the general public owns. So if you are so concerned with the unnecessary deaths in this country, why not focus on the biggest killers? Is it really the damage the guns do that you disagree with or is it the fact you simply disagree with people owning them? If your so worried about our society then lets ban cheese burgers and french fries!

My point is personal responsibility, not people forcing their belief system and opinions on the rest of society. Where does it stop? Tweet
