Diamond Crown temperature sensitive?

After replacing all my amalgam with diamond lite and then replaced a gold crown with amalgam. The diamond Crown material has been very sensitive to the cold, it was never sensitive before and the tooth looked very healthy prior to the cap install. If this common with this material? Will it subside? What can be done to minmize?
