Yes, I am using the EMX now instead of the F165 as a pad device. When using a pad device it works more like a zapper, and when using the F165 with all three frequencies in harmonic mode you produce so many harmonics that you get more width of killing than a single freq and certainly wider than the EMX which is more surgical:

In short, if you are unsure then use the F165 as a pad device and for several minutes using the major frqs 20, 728, 800, 880, 1550, and 10000
