I believe it's the function of our colon to absorb water and nutrients from our stool. If the colon isnt absorbing water from the stool, it makes the stool watery or pasty which is hard to clean up. The fact that our stool is pasty may be an indication of our colonic linings been filled with mucuos as a result of over production of acid. We need to clean our colonic lining which is very hard to do. We need a very strong chemical that can break down this mucuos. This may be the reason why people on anti-candida diets sometimes end fecal anal odor. These anti-fungal diets are very alkaline and may be helping to destroy the mucoid membrane.
