Re: --Answer--pets --Alkaline vs Alkalizing Drink--

So how did they get alkalizing minerals in the wild? I'm guessing the bones. Vegetation in the stomachs of animals they ate. So if they had raw bones they wouldn't need any alkalizing?

My dog gets raw meat with vegetables mixed in, i buy it ready mixed and frozen. She also has dried mixer which has calcium in. Occassonally has raw bones in the summer when she can eat outside. Do you think she is getting enough alkalizing minerals or could i put a tablespoon of diluted pickling lime in her drinking water. She is about 30lb. I know you can give dogs kelp, acv even, (what about their teeth?) but not lemon? BSM, can you give a dog that?

Thanks
Solelady
