I don't recall ever being aware of your troubles, Hopinso, you always came here providing very sensible and sincere wisdom and sorrow compassion. You've learned this from enduring your troubles...CARRYING "your cross". When assistance is necessary, you "request" it instead of "unjustly" inflicting a burden on another without their acceptance.

God wants you and Him to be friends (in other words, He WANTS you, the real you, not the standard churchgoer relationship (He doesn't want that from anyone). God doesn't want ANYONE to have a devotion/relationship that is IDENTICAL to each other (churchgoers, self-proclaimed "brethren", pastors, scholars included), God "all inclusive" (Father, Son, and God's eternal spirit...Hebrews 9:14) wants a PERSONAL relationship (with all of your IDIOSYNCRACIES, concerns, habits, mistakes, shortcomings, etc.).

If scripture was taught properly, Christianity would notice little things like 1 Corinthians 15:28 "...everything to everyone".

Your Depression is not displeasing Him (How do you think He feels about the fact that you wish to "PLEASE" Him (instead of always being obsessed with COMMANDS)?...this is true love (hmmm, God is LOVE, "the greatest of these" 1 Corinthians 13:13). You've crossed a threshhold from the traditional partisan pharisee-like teachings of institutional Christianity that only teach the introductory doctrine (Hebrews 6:1) of "the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15, Ephesians 1:13) and now you can learn "the depths of God" (1 Corinthians 2:10) and HEAR His voice (John 10:27) from the "sword of the spirit" (Ephesians 6:17, the word that we should LIVE BY). SPECIAL NOTICE I didn't SAY (use the words) that a Christian shouldn't allow themselves to "go to" a church "building/organization/gathering" if they decide that regular attendance is appropriate for them to participate in a reasonably convenient ministry or for fellowship with the BRETHREN, not as a requirement for fellowship with GOD (I have to be more explicit when saying things because people like to draw conclusions and defend the world against me...I'm not an ogre).

God is with you ALWAYS, not just on Sundays, nor at a meeting place that others (churchgoers) have approved of. To each person, He must be your PERSONAL God/savior/friend/Heavenly Father, etc.

God is not displeased with you in any way, He knows where you're at in your life and will bear with you (tarry with you AS LONG AS NECESSARY, He will never leave you nor forsake you). If someone has a good job and can pay all their bills and car repairs, etc. and doesn't have a care in the world, He will not tarry with THEM forever.

The fragrance of your love PLEASES Him.

People feel better about themselves when they can pick on other people and claim/emphasize that the other person has "sinned" against PROPRIETY (man's laws/codes, bad table manners, dress codes, codes of etiquette, etc.) instead of letting love cover a multitude of sins, but even the prodigal son who "sinned against heaven" was welcomed with open arms because he approached/returned to his father in love.
