Hello Jamie,
For years while working,I ate in restaurants a small lettuce salad with usually fish or chicken and coffee with ice cream. No problem with beans or any cooked vegetables. No raw fruit or processed deserts.I have two strictures so I was careful with my diet.On occasions when eating out,I did eat other foods Chinese, pizza, frozen yogurt etc.For breakfast, usually brown rice with a banana, yogurt, vegetables and an egg or two with skim milk and a vitamin/mineral supplement.Had a colonoscopy every year.Never showed any problem.I have never taken any medication of any kind.No vitamin E enema.I had a colonoscopy coming up in two months so I thought to try some raw fruit and see if it had an effect on my colon.Ate one pound of green or red grapes every day and a couple of pineapples for about a month.I developed dysplasia in one of my strictures. No cancer.Hopefully it will have healed by the next colonscopy.sheldon
