Re: Google Drops Aspartame Article Under Industry Pressure

Thanks Zoe!

My sister is a diet soda drinker...

Americans are so strung out on looks that diet soft drinks
are a cash cow for their producers.

Water is about the same price as a soda pop, also, making it
an easier choice for many to grab the Pepsi Zero, or whatever
they are calling it now.

I was fortunate to have the insight not to ever drink the stuff
myself. I may have a Hansen's a few times per year.

Lo Han Kuo is the best Sugar substitute out there IMHO.
Apx 300 times sweeter than Sugar and only about 50 calories a
serving. Very healthy for the body, foremost. I think I told you
about that stuff. Stevia, in my book , in a refined form is not
a great option, and the Aspartame consortium has persuaded the FDA
to make it mandatory the Stevia is not labeled as a Sugar substiute
or sweetner. I tried Stevia once and was cleaning the kitchen with
a Q-tip at 3am after using some in tea.

aloha...D
