Why the Altered Spellings?

A question for the moderators; Perhaps I missed the answer to this somewhere, but why disguise the company name, "M****tech", and also it's flagship product, "A*******e" on these Cure-Zone forums? Was there a request from the company not to have these words spelled out in their entirety? Is this being done with more than one company and it's products?
