I am doing a weight lifting and running challenge and have a few weeks left to go. I have been feeling pretty acidic eating the recommended foods (low fat everything, not even healthy fats like avocado or olives, I have not even been allowed to eat fruit). I am over this strict diet, my body has said enough.
I was hoping to juice my way to the finish. I was wondering if there is a protein source anyone would recommend for after my weight training so that I don't lose my muscle mass, I was thinking protein powder or eggs but I wasn't sure if they counteracted the health and weight loss benefits of juicing. Any thoughts on what protein to eat whilst juicing? Also I cannot juice for lunch so wondered if raw fruits or veges is acceptable or is there a way to take juice from the morning and it not oxidise (i.e. could I freeze it?). I appreciate anyone's help.
