Re: Does anyone have stories about weight loss being easier after Iodine?
That is very interesting! I am new to the
Iodine stuff. I just started taking Thyrosol about 2 months ago on advice from my alternative doc. Here is a link.

Anyway, I was struck by your statement about lumpy breasts and thighs, as I have just recently noticed a similar downward trend in mine, and I thought it might be my imagination. Hmmmm. Could cellulite be an
Iodine deficiency?????? Have you ever noticed that even tho paintings from earlier ages show heavy, well-padded women, their skin is always depicted as smooth and not lumpy? Is cellulite a modern scourge? I know the amount of
Iodine in Thyrosol does not rival
Lugols or Iodoral, but it seems like it is helping me (I am sensitive to small doses of things - does not take much for me to make a dif, and I am easily overloaded), mainly by getting my overal body temp up, which helps fight pathogens, etc. Or, at least I think that is what it is doing.
As far as weight, I have lost 4
pounds in the past 2 weeks (need to lose about 10 more), but I do not know if it is due to the iodine or not. But, I believe it is all connected. I noticed the weight loss after I had been on Xylitol (antifungal) for candida for about 2 weeks. When my candida flares I gain weight, so the fact that I lost weight after taking an antifungal is not surprising. But, the path to get here was this: started on Thyrosol 2 months ago, which slowly began getting body temp up, which in turn seems to have helped my liver function somehow (? any clues?), which in turn has made me able to handle some mild antifungals that I have not been able to tolerate at all due to severe liver stress, which in turn has caused the candida to die off, which in turn has caused me to be less hungry and not crave at all, which in turn has caused weight loss.
I really think you guys have something here with the iodine program. I was doing kelp ala Moreless, but I couldn't stand it - anything that is even slightly raw-fishy makes me gaaaaag, and I understand I would have needed mass quantities to help, and I just could not do it. I am no wimp. I'll do just about anything to get well (except urine), but this was just not in the cards.
