I only dropped 2 lbs during my first month on Iodine ( Iodoral 150 mg/day) but lost 3% body fat that I could not shed before no matter how hard I worked out. As Prism points out correctly the scale does not reflect fat loss or for that matter muscle gain. How your clothes fit and what you see in the mirror are much more important than the scale. I have since loss an addtional 1% body fat, with no weight change.
