Re: The Power of Prayer?
"Do you think Dr.`s pray to the Most High God for us?
Do you have any Dr.`s in your little church?"
well, I think as in any profession, there are some in the medical field who have not abused or neglected their calling- and some probably do actually pray for their patients. Then there are those who have no need for God, do not even believe in the existance of God, and live for themselves and their Jaguar and Lincoln Continental collections.
You get the sincere and the insincere in every profession- even in the blue collar professions.
We have alot of nurses that go to my church, because in my area, you either work in a factory, or go to college to work in a health care field. There isn't a wide variety of jobs where I live. If you are artistic, or are into the holistic health field, you best get out of my part of America and work in New York or the West Coast. It was worse decades before when the only selections were dress factories or coal mine jobs.
There is one nurse who goes to my church whose husband is a doctor, but he doesnt care to come to church so we never see him-- just her and her kids.
I'll definitely say a prayer for you! Believe me, it's very easy to get bitter with all the corruption we see in the medical establishments- where there should be compassion.
