You absolutely should let yourself release emotions and have a good cry when you feel you need to. But to "live" in a perpetual state of negativity would not serve you. It would, however, serve the bugs and lower your pH.
When I recommended to stay positive, I meant -- to KNOW that you will prevail over the situation in due time, and to not despair.
