The problems with longterm Flaxseed oil
The problems with long-term Flaxseed oil
In 1915 or thereabouts, Linseed oil (Flaxseed oil) and ascaridole were known to control strongyles. (Cure?)
While ascaridole was outlawed in the United States, certainly flaxseed oil has not been.
The long term use of flaxseed oil has its problems.
Each 1000mg capsule is one gram of fat.
The dose of flaxseed oil required to control strongyles is 8 - 9 grams every 3 hours.
Over the last year I have gained 60 lbs.
It is uncertain what actual component of Flaxseed oil is the active ingredient. Problem #2
Other contributing aspects are unknown. Problem #3.
The Flaxseed oil seems to be most active against microfilarial stages (Nano's). Necrosis seems to be mostly eliminated.
Areas of high Nano filarial activity produce a white flax powder on the skin, pointing to areas of activity, arms, feet.
Skin Scaring is reduced by the use of flaxseed oil. Skin health is improved.
After months of testing, the cold pressed form seems to be active, along with Swanson's SWE002.
Evidence now shows that meds have increased effectiveness.
Breaking the symbiotic activity enhancement between the Nano stages, and the larval and filarial stages, dampens hyperactivity.
OXFen now is effective on filarial stages, round worms of L3 birthing from cysts.
OXBen now is effective on larval stages (mostly legs).
Rhabditiform stages still require IVM application around Eustachian tubes.
Oregano oil external application can be used to move head or jaw occupation of junior worms.
So simple spring dose routine responds correctly, and med dose patterns now act as described in literature.
Flaxseed has accomplished all of this.
Med dosing is now weeks apart, lowering the body stress.
Is there a flax extract that is more powerful?
Is there anything better than cold pressed flax seed oil?
Is the combination of a grapefruit fat emollient useful in reducing weight gain?
How much effect is the ALA component of Flaxseed oil?
Is the effect improved by black seed oil or castor oil?
Is the effect of Flaxseed oil effected by nitric oxide chemistry.
So Flaxseed (Linseed oil) seems to come with a number of problems, and questions associated with long term use.
If only Ascaridole was available to test. A cure might be possible then, making this narrative a moot issue.
