pretty interesting! I have reservations about the rocks, too. Some people on the moreless forum said they were able to cut down on the drink to once every few days after a period of time. Ideally I'd like to see how people do on it over a period of years, but that's not likely to happen.
What alkalizing agent do you replace the calcium hydroxide with? Do you not use kelp because you're taking another form of iodine? My husband uses Young Living Essential oils, and they have some sort of alkalizing product, but when he read me the ingredients, it included baking soda. I've read some people advocating taking that, and others saying it's poison, so I held off on pursuing that.
I have been trying different forms of calcium - a few from Unicity, I've tried the cal/mag stuff and natural calm, and lately I think just taking the molasses in spite of some candida issues might be a good source. My husband and I also use a lot of raw sesame tahini because sesame seeds are supposed to be high in calcium. I have been taking ACV in water with a tsp. or so of the molasses and adding something called Super PH Minerals (from fulvic acid), which is supposed to be alkalizing. Jury's still out for me, but so far I think it might be a good product. Expensive, of course. My house would be paid off if I could get back what I've spent on supplements. I'm hoping the
Iodine will help fill in the blanks. Not sure what's doing it, but my nails are growing faster and are harder, I would think that's minerals.
A friend of mine has been treating metastasized
Breast Cancer with diet and supplements for a couple of years. She's in a holding pattern, and in spite of an almost totally plant based diet with mostly raw and tons of juicing, she was still finding an acid PH, which seems a little confounding given how hard she's worked. Not encouraging, but maybe in the presence of cancer, it's harder to alkalize with diet. She's going to try the
Iodine next, and only recently started doing extra mineral supplementation, so hopefully that will help.
