Is there a page on curezone that lists all the sites that contain spyware on them? I saw a post you made about spyware, this one: Spyware and Adware, it is time you get educated! http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=737752
But it doesn't list very many sites and it does not list Lyricsdownload, which you said is on the list of sites known to intetionally spread spyware. Where is this list you got that from? I would like to know as many sites as possible so I can avoid them.

This is a reply to # 957,166The list is dynamic, it is not static. Status of sites may change overnight ... a site may get infected with spyware, and may endup on the list overnight, and the next day ... may be removed from the list, after they comply with rules.
The best way to protect yourself from spyware is to install the best anti-spy software: SpySweeper
SpySweeper:

SpySweeper, after installed, downloads new definitions every day. That way ... it keeps updated on what sites are "dangerous" at that time, in-between other things.
SpySweeper on my computer "went crazy" when I attempted to reach your message. It automatically blocked contact that my browser made with Lyricsdownload.com
The best antivirus software today is Avast:

Avast can detect threats that no other antivirus software can.
Today, with so many threats around, the second best is not enough.
I have tested many different Anti-Spy and Antivirus software, and have concluded that SpySweeper and Avast are the best on the market.
Norton, McAfee, AVG, Norman, F Secure, etc. are just some of the more known programs that I tested on the same infected computers, and it is not before SpySweeper and Avast were installed that all threats were found and quarantined.
I am just a customer of SpySweeper and of Avast. I make no money by recommending it to people.
P.S.
Some general rules on Anti-Spy and Antivirus software:
Usually, Anti-Spy software can co-exist with Antivirus software on the same computer.
Usually, you can have more then one Anti-Spy software installed on the same coputer ... and everything will be working fine.
Usually, you can not have more then one Antivirus software running on the same computer. That means, that before you install Avast, you must remove whatever other antivirus software you are using.
Before you install SpySweeper, you do not need to remove whatever other antivirus or anti-spy software you are using.
The best firewall program is Lavasoft Personal Firewall 1.0
If you are spending a lot of time on the web, your computer should have:
- Antivirus software running
- Anti-spy software running
- Personall Firewall software running
Even with all those protections ... there is no 100% guaranty.
Someone have to get infected before Antivirus and Anti-spy software producers can create protection.

On my computer for spyware protection, I have: Spybot Search and Destroy 1.4, Adaware SE Professional, AVG Anti-Spyware Professional, Spyware Blaster, and Xoftspy. But, I don't run any of them in real time. And, when I do run them, they don't always tell me the name of the actual site or spyware, so I just delete all that the programs say to delete and ususally don't know most of, if any, of what I'm deleting. But things go ok. I run windows Xp Home Ed. Service Pack 1 (not SP2), which is why I am able to run so many programs synergistically.
There is a program I recommend to everyone called RogueRemover. It has a free version and Pro, but the free one finds all the same Rogue programs as the paid, so no need to buy it. Rogue programs/software are applications that rather than remove spyware (or viruses), provide false positives, distribute malware or spyware, advertise, or provide useless uninstallers. It is a simple install and everyone should have it so they know which programs are legitimate and which are scams.
I re-did that page and wrote the lyrics out myself (and the song still plays in the background). I think it looks better than with the lyricsdownload, anyway: http://curezone.com/blogs/m.asp?f=1184&i=244
P.S. I was just on the phone tonight talking to my mom about my mercury poisoning from age 4 to 37, and we were discussing all the horrid details of how sick I was and how many things we went through over it as a family (they tried everything to find out what was so severely wrong with me). We were both in tears, so this is a pretty special blog entry for me. They are Commercial Fishermen, that's why the boat picture.
