This is something I shared at the
parasite forum...
A friend of mine, who is a psychologist, encourages her clients to put on some diapers and re-potty train themselves. People who were potty trained too early, and/or improperly (whatever that means?!), are prone to holding their BM's much longer than is healthy. This (hypothetically) gives worms and pathogens an opportunity to flourish in the body, instead of being eliminated.
The emotional component of early/improper potty training is a tendency toward obsessive compulsive behavior.
Hypothetically, if you were to put on a diaper for a few days and let the poop fly the very second the urge hits you, it would give your body an opportunity to discover the "age appropriate things" it never had a chance to learn, when premature toilet learning was required instead. Things like how to detect the exact right moment to let go of your poop in order to eliminate a big load of worms.
The immune system is greatly aided as waste starts moving out of the body immediately. You may notice unusual sensations of things previously held onto, deep inside, letting go, if the bowels are moved while standing up. You may have an urge to lean back and push your hips forward in an effort to experience a deeper release.
In addition to letting the bowels do what they need to do, for the first time since you were a baby, it is important to let the emotions relax too. Make grunting, squealing and moaning noises, if you have an urge to do so. Sometimes that will facilitate a deeper release too.
If you immediately poop whenever the urge arises for a couple of days, you may discover that you have temporarily lost your ability to control the bowels, for the next couple of days during the re-education process. So it's probably a good idea to take the phone off the hook, and several days off work, if you are going to try this.
I am envisioning an article in a Travel Magazine: "This summer I decided to take a trip into my bowels..."
