I had always had my suspicions about corporate agriculture, but this documentary scared the living bejeepers out of me. I am considering going Amish, but even THAT won't protect individual agriculturalists from the legalities of corporate agriculture.

Genetically Manufactured Organisms (GMO's) are pervasive in everything that we consume, today, without exaggeration. From dairy, to meats, to grains, to fruits - it's all being genetically altered, cloned, or manufactured. And, the FDA (those good 'ole bastions of protection) does not feel that GMO's need to be identified in labeling as there are "...no known risks..." in consuming GMO's.

Two excellent discussions on WAMU with Dianne Rehm hosting. The Genetically-Modified-Organisms questions are something that surpasses ALL of our current concerns - what we are ingesting, breathing, and bathing in is being deliberately altered for the sake of money.
