Dr. Karach did a study of a therapy that presumably has been around many years prior practiced in Ayurveda. We have no idea why he said to only use those two oils as you cannot find his studies on the internet, or in English.
We have our theories about some of the things he wrote. We were also steadfast in the use of those two oils when this forum started. I was the biggest proponent of not trying other oil. But as the forum progressed, and more information came out about the study of essential fatty acids, the anti-viral quality of coconut oils....and then people started to experiment with amazing success, I relented. Then I started to experiment myself.
It was the day I tried Walnut Oil that I was convinced that you did not need to stay with these two oils. Don't get me wrong, I had great success initially with Sunflower Oil, and used it exlusively for months and months. But I wasn't experiencing all the wonderful things as time went by. Then I went to Sesame Oil, and that was like starting all over again. I was thrilled with Sesame for months...and then again, I was no longer experiencing the benefits.
It has led us to believe that you need to change your oil every once in awhile. Why? Don't know. When I do change my oils I experience other benefits I had not experienced before. It's happened too many times not to notice this effect.
I tell you this after being on this forum for about 1-1/2 years now. I can say with some authority now, you do not need to stick with the Sesame and Sunflower to experience all the benefits OP seems to give. In fact, I now believe that each of our individual bodies react in different ways to different oils.
In the end it is the properties of good oils that human bodies need. How you choose to go about this is a personal choice. I do urge you to experiment when you can.
