There isn't a time limit with the lemonade. That's the beauty of it. You just drink it when you need it. They make a type of cayenne that is 90,000 HU's (heat units) and it's hotter (obviously) than the regular cayenne. I think you should go according to the recipe, and if you can stand it, add more. I personally love the lemonade pretty spice; my friends taste it and can't believe I drink it that spicy, but I guess I've built up to that.
