All animals host parasites. Fish, frogs, cows, cats and so forth and so on. We humans are animals too - even though we live in houses and drive cars - we are still just animals.
It is the parasite's JOB to remain undetected in our bodies. It has to have a host in order to survive and WE are that host. In the 19th and early 20th centuries, it was not a great big deal - familes parasite cleansed 2 times per year - every year. They used herbal blends and/or castor oil. Castor oil was (and still is) cheap and readily available to most families. HOWEVER, it was a very harsh cleansing method causing severe cramping and diarrhea.
Since the 1930's modern medicine and modern living methods (electricity, plumbing, etc.) caused a decline in bi-annual parasite cleansing. Too "old-fashioned". And just look at where it has gotten us. Younger and younger folks are just getting sicker and sicker! Something is just not right when there are folks in their early 20's who suffer from chronic fatigue! Good grief - when I was in my early twenties, I could work in the fields all day long, drink all night then turn around and work again the next day - all without a drop of fatigue!
Lot of folks want to KNOW for certain that they have parasites BEFORE they cleanse. I just always say ASSUME that you DO have parasites and cleanse. It is much better to be safe than sorry (and sick). If you have them - cleansing will make you feel better and if you don't - well, it doesn't hurt to try it - you might be surprised.
