my recommendation is neydent toothpaste and an ionic toothbrush for starters. i have used there for 15 years. some people won't use neydent because it has animal products and they are vegetarian. i think being vegetarianism can actually contribute to gum problems. http://www.mercola.com/2000/apr/2/vegetarian_myths.htm. i have had patients call me who get turned down by hal huggins for removal of mercury because they are vegetarian. in his book, he says they will not recover well after removal.
