I'm a food smeller! There's a particular decadent Christmas goody leftover at work that has the most heavenly, intense smell. They think I'm crazy because I go into the kitchen, open the tin and just inhale and then go back to work (only one coworker knows I'm fasting).
After the first few days of the cleanse, I can sit and watch people eat and don't have any trouble with wanting to eat but sometimes the smells can be nauseating -- especially oily or fatty foods. The biggest problem with being with people who are eating is that they grill you on why you're not eating.

I've always had a keen sense of smell but during a cleanse, even more so. In fact, one of my coworkers has been taking garlic this week and the whole office reeks. I'm the only one that has a problem with it. My husband also has a garlicky breath thing going on this week although he's not taking garlic. I nearly gag every time he gets close. He says it's all in my head!
