Laurel Queen
Decided not to wait till Wednesday, so did the bath last night. First I did dry skin brushing, then I took a fairly warm bath to open the pores as wide as possible. These steps were not in the instructions but seemed to be things that would make the experience more useful. Then I set the timer and poured the large bowl of clay and water that I had mixed earlier. I used 1 cup of clay and mixed it with a hand blender into a large bowl of water. After 20 minutes, I rinsed off with clear water and got ready for bed. I felt quite nauseous but otherwise ok.
This morning, I bailed out most of the water and took a sample of the clay. It had not changed color at all. From reading the instructions and testimony at the website and in the package, I expected to be able to see results. There were black flecks in the clay, but these were already present in both of the previous samples. There were larger brown flecks, but these were consistant with the spice/added sample. The clay did not clump in the bottom of the tub as expected, it was more of a silty consistancy so instead of trying to clean it out, I just washed it down the drain.
There do not seem to be many physical changes. I feel pretty much the same as I did yesterday.
Next time, I will use 2 cups of clay and see what happens.
I have posted pics of all three clay samples. The upper left sample is the post bath sample, the upper right is the clay w/out additives sample and the lower one is the clay w/spice-herb sample. The lower one appears darker than the bath one due to the ratio of clay used. I had no way of knowing how reduce the amounts down from bathtub to cup size.
So, there it is. I am not at all discouraged, the literature did state that I might feel nauseous which I did so at least something happened.
Best to all,
LQ
