"A “healthy” person should be able to handle at least 1 cup of oil without nausea, pain, discomfort or acid reflux."
Your post was excellent, but I am a little hesitant to agree with you on the above suggestion. Personally, I have vomited a number of times, once very recently which caused a great deal of pain, and indeed, I vomited so much that I spat blood. Now, I have performed a number of liver flushes, fasts, bowel cleanses, kidney cleanses, parasite cleanses, and follow an all-raw, all-organic diet of fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, herbs...and yet still I occasionally vomit after consuming such a large quantity of oil.
As I said, I have vomited on more than a few occasions, yet I have also experienced flushes free from nausea, which suggests that the person's state of health is not particularly related to nausea or vomiting.
As a note, I never suffer pain or discomfort, but I do tend to vomit, or at the very least feel nauseas. My state of health is rather good, excellent I would say, in fact.
People's tolerance levels for certain substances differ greatly, and I think it is somewhat moot to suggest that olive oil sickness is related to one's state of health.
