My wife and I decided to try a one day broth fast last week. We made our own broth from vegetables, simmered over low heat, and drank this throughout the day.
The problem is, her liver started to get hard in the afternoon and ache a bit. Why is this? I could not find any mention of this on curezone or on the web!
She does not have any debilitating health issues, but she does believe she has some mucoid plaque, and she has a mysterious lower abdomen bloat (the 3 months pregnant look) every night and sometimes during the day. The weird thing is, she got the same bloat, despite not having any solid food! I don't understand this!
We won't be doing another fast until we can figure out some answers. The bloating is driving me nuts because it happens regardless of what she eats. We know dairy makes it worse, so she stopped that completely. Otherwise, we eat pretty clean - absolutely no processed foods, she makes everything made from scratch, lots of vegetables, no sugar, not much meat. She usually "blows up" in the evening, sometimes it continues through the whole day, otherwise it deflates by afternoon. It has gotten worse over the last 3 years. We tried eliminating wheat, fruits, sugars, salt, beans, and dairy.
