I had a terrible experience with CO
on my face. The details of it are all in the following post I sent to the yahoo CO
forum, which was rejected because it didn't serve the forum managers interests (to sell VCO!!). I am a great supporter of VCO, and I take it internally, but I believe it is important for people to report any negative side effects they have had with it, for the sake and support of others, who may feel very confused if its is happening to them.
Here is the post that got rejected:
I had a similar experience with VCO on my face. I normally get no more than one or two pimples a year, but when I started VCO on my face my whole forehead broke out, like real acne, and worse still, my already dry skin got soooo dry it hurt to smile!! I had lots of little lines around my mouth which were never there before, and crows feet suddenly appeared!! I was only 27 then and have a very youthful face, no wrinlkes. Its now 9 months later and I stopped VCO long ago, I now use Shea Butter, which seems to be healing my skin, the wrinkles are almost gone, but still quite visible. The Acne
went when I stopped the VCO. Also my skin used to be very smooth and even in tone, now it is kind of bumpy and not as even, but its getting better.
Another thing, I tried to give it a chance, I used it for 3 or 4
months, and got worse and worse. I tried to believe in the stuff, but not being able to smile was getting me down!!
I hope this helps you, or at least makes you aware that there are two sides to this product! Another thing I would like to add is that it is possible I think, that the VCO was reacting like that because I was on the pill. When I was on the pill without VCO on my face, there was no problem, but I know that the pill I was taking was meant to be good for poeple with Acne
(not me), so maybe there was some extreme drying reaction going on with the VCO. Anyway, I am not the only person who has got dryness and wrinkles from VCO, have a look around on the net, I have come accross 2 or 3 others who have had the identical experience, it is not just dry skin, it is absolutly disabling dry skin!! Even talking stretches and feels uncomfortable!!
